Walter Tull Deserves the Military Cross

Northampton Town Football Club's Walter Tull was the first black commissioned officer in the British Army. He was recommended for the Military Cross before being killed in action, and the Military Cross was never awarded.


Today I wrote to the Veteran's Minister, Alistair Carns MP to ask that Walter Tull is awarded the Military Cross.
